Bridging access to communities
SM Store makes sharing to the communities more accessible for its loyal customers and employees through its flagship advocacy program, Shop & Share—an embodiment of the genuine Filipino spirit of bayanihan. Through this initiative, over a million pairs of shoes, school kits, toys, agricultural tools, and other essentials have been given to families and communities nationwide.
Moreover, SM Store demonstrates its commitment to social responsibility by supporting SM Foundation programs on education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, and support for individuals with special needs.

Shop & Share for Sustainable Livelihood
In partnership with PhilSEED and Ace Express, SM Store introduced a new program in July 2023 aimed at supporting local farming communities in Zamboanga Del Norte. This initiative assisted communities in sustaining their livelihoods through the distribution of seedlings and agriculture tool kits.
Shop & Share for Education
Driven by a commitment to promoting the value of education, the Shop & Share for Education program garnered over 500,000 books and back-to-school kits in donations which were distributed to various schools and libraries in grassroots communities.
Shop & Share a Toy
In partnership with SM Foundation, the Shop & Share a Toy campaign was a joint project between SM Store and Toy Kingdom for the holiday season. The program promoted community involvement in spreading joy by giving more than 200,000 toys to children in less fortunate communities and partner organizations.
Share Shoes
Sharing proved to be beneficial not only for the soul but also for the sole, as demonstrated by the Share Shoes program. Over the years, this initiative provided over 200,000 pairs of shoes to public school students and families in need.
Shop & Share for Women
In celebration of Women’s Month, SM Store launched Shop & Share for Women. 5,000 kits were handed over to partner NGOs who helped distribute these to young women who face challenges accessing essential menstrual care items.
CSR Day VolunteeriSM
In honor of our founder, Mr. Henry Sy Sr., who inspired us with the value of giving back to communities, the company launched a CSR Day VolunteeriSM program. This initiative encouraged employees to take a day off to volunteer and assist communities. Since 2022, our employees have dedicated more than 17,000 volunteer hours to do SMthing good for the nation.
