With the common mission to bring happiness to Filipino children, Richwell Philippines Inc. Group of Companies partnered with The SM Store for its donation drive Share Shoes. Richwell will donate 7,000 pairs of shoes to be given to the kids of World Vision and SM Foundation.
During the program launch held last May 18 at The SM Store Makati Prestige Lounge, Richwell Philippines’ Chief Operating Officer Maye Yao Co Say said, “Our Love for the Global Child fuels our passion to bring happiness and progress to every Filipino child and family.” In addition to their participation in Share Shoes, Richwell has free Ogalala System-in-Care to guide and teach parents how to prepare for their journey to parenthood. The company also has Play Parenting classes and platforms to assist parents in their early child development needs.
Richwell has been a long-term partner of The SM Store in providing products for Filipino kids of all ages. It is a local distributor and manufacturer for several brands such as Crayola, Disney, National Geographic, Elle Kids, and Ogalala Shoes, among others.

Also present during the event was World Vision Philippines, represented by its Resource Development Director Jun Godornes. He said that shoes from Share Shoes program will greatly boost the morale of World Vision kids as they start to attend face-to-face classes for the upcoming school year.
The SM Store President Chelo Monasterio said Share Shoes is in line with SM Founder Henry Sy Sr.’s vision where Filipinos, especially children, have access to a decent pair of shoes.
Share Shoes is the signature community program of The SM Store with the goal of providing shoes to kids who need them most. Since 2018, Share Shoes has already provided more than a million shoes to kids from Metro Manila to last-mile communities around the country. Early this year, The SM Store and SM Foundation partnered with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Caritas Philippines to distribute more than 300,000 pairs of shoes nationwide.
